Lawrence Finnell to Discuss U.S. Supreme Court Ruling Hughes v. Northwestern University

Bond Attorney Lawrence Finnell will join a panel of three for an Employment Law Alliance webinar to discuss the U.S. Supreme Court’s recent ruling in an Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) lawsuit. Known as Hughes v. Northwestern University, it reiterated a need to focus on the appropriate ways to discharge fiduciary duties, including the fiduciaries’ continuing duty to monitor investments and to remove imprudent ones. 

This webinar provides an overview of this case and highlights ways that plan fiduciaries can help ensure their duties are met.
